Open Beth, your AI assistant, from the page edge or the phone bottom bar and ask about your income, bills, debts, and retirement in plain words.
Can Beth change my data?
Beth is read-only by default. If an owner or spouse/partner turns on Read & write, Beth can propose changes, and nothing is saved until you tap Confirm.
Connect an AI assistant to Beyond Payday
Connect an assistant like Claude to Beyond Payday so it can answer questions about your real numbers — read-only or read and write, revoke anytime.
How do I let Beth make changes?
Owners and spouses/partners switch Beth from Read-only to Read & write in Settings or on the card Beth shows. You can switch back anytime.
Is it safe to connect an AI assistant?
A connected assistant sees only what your account can see, only after you approve it. Beyond Payday logs which tool ran, not your data or chat.
Is it safe to let Beth make changes?
Beth only proposes. The server builds each card, you confirm every change, deletes are double-checked, and changes are logged and usually undoable.
See or disconnect your connected AI apps
Open Settings, then AI Connections, to see each connected assistant, its access level and last use, and choose Revoke to cut it off at once.
Turn Beth, your AI assistant, on or off
Use the Beth switch in Settings, on the General tab, to show or hide Beth. The choice applies to everyone in your household on Pro.
Undo a change Beth made
Tap Undo on Beth's card within 24 hours to put things back. Undo is refused if the record was edited again since, so newer changes are never lost.
What a connected AI assistant can read and change
Read-only sees your finances and changes nothing. Read & write can also edit nearly every record, from bills and debts to holdings, grants and tax facts.
