- Is the Beyond Payday app free?
- Yes. The app is free to download and uses your existing Free or Pro plan. There is nothing extra to buy in the app.
- Is there an iPhone app?
- Yes. The free iPhone and iPad app is on the App Store for iOS 15 or later. Sign in with your existing account and everything is already there. You can also add Beyond Payday to your home screen from Safari instead: open the site, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Do I need the app to use Beyond Payday?
- No. Everything works in your web browser on any phone, tablet or computer. The phone app adds reminders on your phone and a Face ID or fingerprint lock.
- What is the browser version (PWA)?
- PWA stands for progressive web app. It is the website saved to your home screen or desktop so it opens like an app, with its own icon and no browser bars. There is nothing to download from an app store, and it can’t send you notifications.
- Is the app a separate account?
- No. Sign in with the same account you use on the website. Your income, bills, goals and everything else are already there, and changes show up on every device.
- Will the app send me notifications?
- Only the ones you turn on. Bill due dates, paydays and the other reminders each have their own switch, all off to start. Notifications never show dollar amounts, because they can appear on your lock screen.
- Does the app connect to my bank?
- No. Beyond Payday never links to your bank. You enter your numbers yourself, the same as on the website.
- Which phones are supported?
- Android 7.0 or later from Google Play, and iPhone or iPad on iOS 15 or later from the App Store. The store apps are available in the United States.
- Does it work offline?
- No. The app and the browser version both need an internet connection, so your numbers are always the latest. With no connection, the app shows an offline screen until you are back online.
- How do I upgrade to Pro in the app?
- Tap upgrade and checkout opens in your phone’s browser. Your plan then applies everywhere you sign in.
