You remove a family member from the Family tab in Settings. Open the member's actions menu, choose Delete, and confirm. To cancel a pending invite instead, choose Revoke to cancel the invite and keep the member record.
Before you start
- Removing a member who can log in ends their access to your family. Only the account owner can do this.
- Members without a login (for example, a child you track only for their birthday) can be removed by anyone with delete permission for family.
Steps
- Open Settings (opens in a new tab) and go to the Family tab.
- Find the person in the list and open their actions menu.
- To cancel an invite that hasn't been accepted, choose Revoke and confirm in the Revoke Invitation dialog.
- To remove the person, choose Delete, then click Delete in the Delete Family Member dialog.
