Reset a forgotten password

You can't sign in because you don't remember your password. Request a reset link from the login page, open it within 1 hour, and choose a new password.

Why this happens

Beyond Payday never shows or emails your password. The only way back in with a forgotten password is a one-time reset link sent to your account email.

Fix

1. On the login page, choose Forgot password?.
2. Enter your Email and choose Send reset link.
3. Open the email and follow the link. It expires in 1 hour.
4. If two-factor authentication is on, enter your authenticator code or a backup code when asked.
5. Under Set new password, enter a New Password (at least 8 characters) and Confirm Password, then choose Reset password.

After the reset, you stay signed in on this device. For your security, other devices are signed out and any saved passkeys are removed. You can add passkeys again in Settings.

If that didn't work

• "This password reset link is invalid or has expired" — choose Request new reset link and use the newest email only.
• No email? Check spam, and make sure you typed the address you signed up with.
• You signed up with Google or Apple? You may not have a password. Sign in with that button instead.

FAQ

How long does the reset link last? One hour. After that, request a new link from the reset page.

Why am I asked for an authenticator code during a reset? If two-factor authentication is on, the reset page asks for your code (or a backup code) before you choose a new password.

I signed up with Google or Apple. Do I have a password? Not unless you set one. Sign in with Google or Apple instead, then add a password from the Set Password card if you want one.
