The same bill, income, asset, debt, goal, business, what-if scenario, milestone, snapshot, or family member can be edited in more than one place at a time: a second browser tab, the phone app, your spouse's account, the spreadsheet view, or a connected AI assistant. Beyond Payday never lets one of those edits quietly overwrite another. When you save a record that changed after you opened it, you see "This bill was changed somewhere else. Your changes weren't saved — review the latest version and try again." (with the right record type), and nothing is overwritten.
What to do
- Leave the edit window open. Everything you typed is still there.
- Look at the page behind it. It has already refreshed to show the latest version.
- To keep your edits, save again. Your changes are applied on top of the latest version.
- To keep the other change instead, close the window without saving.
