Every finished lesson ends with a certificate you can download or print. When you're signed in and 18 or older, Beyond Payday also saves a verified copy with a public link that anyone can open to check it. You can rename or remove those certificates any time in Learn.
How it works
- Lesson certificate: shown on the finish screen of every lesson. Kids get an award, with print and save behind a grown-up check.
- Track certificate: finish a track's certificate lessons (the lessons marked Certificate path) to earn a certificate for the whole track.
- With Honors: on teen and adult tracks, a lesson certificate says With Honors when you got 90% or more of that run's quiz right on the first try. A track certificate gets Honors when your best runs across the certificate lessons average 90% or more. Scores are never added up across runs.
- Verified certificates (adults): when you're signed in and 18 or older, each certificate is saved to your account with a verify link, like beyondpayday.com/learn/verify/… The name comes from your account until you choose Edit name; after that, new certificates use the name you chose.
- Teens and guests: the finish screen lets you type a name for the certificate. That name stays on your device. There's no public link.
The verify page
A verify page says that the named person finished the lesson or track, on what date, and with Honors if earned. It also says the certificate shows the lesson was finished and isn't a professional credential.
Anyone with the link can see the name, the lesson and the date. The page has no other details about you or your account.
Rename or remove a certificate
- Open Learn (opens in a new tab) and scroll to Certificates.
- To change the name, choose Edit name, type the Name on the certificate, and choose Save. The name shows on this certificate and its verify page, and on certificates you earn from now on. Names can't include contact details or blocked words.
- To take a certificate down, choose Remove and confirm. Its verify link stops working right away. Your lesson progress stays.
Each certificate there also has Copy link and Download, and track certificates have Add to LinkedIn.
Assumptions and limits
- Quizzes are self-paced and checked in your browser. A certificate shows a lesson was finished; it isn't a professional credential, license or school credit.
- Certificates with a verify link are only for adults 18 and over, by the age on your account.
- Kids' awards never have a public link.
