When could you retire?
Three numbers, an instant estimate — the same math as our free retirement calculator, simplified.
At this pace, you could retire around
age 63
with roughly $627.2K saved, lasting to age 95.
Assumes a steady 7% average return, $4,000/mo spending in retirement plus a 25% effective tax rate, $1,800/mo Social Security from 67, and money lasting to age 95. An estimate, not advice — your plan uses your real numbers.
Runs in your browser — these numbers never reach our servers.
With Pro, see your retirement year by year.
Cash flow to age 95, including Social Security timing, pensions, taxes, and withdrawals. Your plan also answers:
- How often does my money last? We test your plan against up to 10,000 possible futures—good markets, bad markets, and everything between—and show how often your money lasts. You see it as your Plan Confidence. (Some call this a Monte Carlo simulation.)
- Should I convert to Roth? Plan moves from traditional to Roth accounts in your lower-income years, with the tax counted.
- What will healthcare cost? Plan for coverage before 65, Medicare after, and long-term care, with healthcare prices rising at their own rate.

A general AI chat
It depends on your income and bills. A common rule of thumb is 50/30/20: about 30% of take-home pay for wants. Share your numbers and I can estimate it.

Your big picture. Less upkeep.
No bank connections to babysit. No reconnecting accounts, waiting for imports, or untangling duplicate transactions. Your picture is built from the numbers you enter—not a changing bank feed.
No transaction cleanup. Skip categorizing every purchase and correcting automatic guesses. Update balances and changed income or bills at your monthly check-in. See what’s left this month and where you stand.
Simple upkeep. Serious planning. Test big purchases and compare debt payoff strategies on Free. With Pro, explore retirement month by month—including Social Security timing, Roth conversions, withdrawals, and market simulations.

Your numbers. Ready-made calculations. See what’s left after bills, your net worth, and your debt payoff options without writing formulas, fixing cell references, or building charts.
One financial picture to keep up to date. Your income, bills, assets, and debts feed the dashboard and planning tools. Update your records without maintaining links between sheets. Use familiar grid entry for bills, assets, and debts.
Go beyond a homemade projection. Test a big purchase or compare extra debt payments on Free. With Pro, explore retirement withdrawals, Social Security timing, Roth conversions, and market simulations—without constructing the model yourself.

A few numbers.
A useful first picture.
Start with your regular income and bills, then add what you own and owe to see your net worth (what you'd have if you sold everything and paid off all debts). Your money left over is an estimate for before everyday purchases—not your live bank balance.

Enter bills, assets, and debts with guided forms or spreadsheet entry, including copy, paste, and undo.

How does Beyond Payday make money?
Only from Pro subscriptions. We don’t show ads, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t take referral fees from lenders. The Free plan is paid for by the people who choose Pro.
Can I plan with my partner?
Yes. Invite your spouse or partner to your household. Household sharing is available on Free, with permissions controlling what members can access.
Who can access my data?
Your household’s permissions control member access. Beyond Payday support can see your account and billing details, not your actual numbers — day-to-day support and product work run on anonymized aggregates. If you need hands-on help, you can grant support temporary access by name from Settings → Privacy, see exactly what they looked at, and revoke it at any time. Data export is available on every plan; the account owner can delete the household account. Read the security details.
Does Beyond Payday replace transaction tracking?
Beyond Payday can replace a transaction-focused app if you want a simpler view of your present and future finances. It does not import or categorize purchases. If you need a detailed spending history, you’ll still need a tool that tracks transactions.
Does Beyond Payday work outside the US?
Beyond Payday is currently available for US households. Its retirement planning includes US-specific rules and benefits.
Less sorting purchases.
More planning what’s next.
